Dan Frumkin awarded Honorary Fellowship from the Chartered Banker Institute
Daniel Frumkin, Chief Executive of Metro Bank, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Banker Institute.
This recognition reflects his leadership through complex organisational change and his commitment to upholding the high standards of professionalism and responsible banking in practice.
Dan has served as Chief Executive of Metro Bank since January 2020, guiding the organisation through a period of transformation and turnaround while maintaining a strong emphasis on customer service and long-term sustainable growth.
With more than three decades of experience in international banking, he has played key roles in complex restructuring environments, shaping his focus on resilience and disciplined transformation.
Dan has held senior leadership roles across the UK, US, Europe and Bermuda, spanning business, risk, product and commercial functions. His previous roles include Group Chief Operating Officer at Butterfield Bank and senior positions at the Royal Bank of Scotland, reflecting both breadth of expertise and a deep understanding of the evolving role banks play in supporting customers, communities and the wider economy.
Throughout his career, Dan has demonstrated a clear commitment to strengthening organisational resilience, improving governance, and fostering a culture of accountability and ethical conduct.
