The Chartered Banker Institute has worked with the European Banking & Financial Services Training Association (EBTN) since it was founded in 1992. During that time, we have worked with the EBTN and a wide range of European and international partners including banking institutes, universities and practitioners to conduct research into the education and training of bankers and financial services professionals, and enhancing financial capability, including:
- Development of European sectoral qualifications for banking and financial services
- Certifying competences and accrediting training providers in the European Union
- Applying the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) to the financial services sector
- Development of practitioner-led financial education workshops in the European Union
