Head of Finance
The Head of Finance provides proactive strategic and operational leadership across all financial activities of the charity. The role ensures robust financial management, regulatory compliance, and effective stewardship of resources to support the organisation’s mission to enhance and sustain socially purposeful, responsible, professional banking in the public interest. We do this by developing and supporting bankers’ education and professional development throughout their careers.

Finance Consultant
Assisting the Head of Finance with the efficient running of the financial management of the Institute, taking responsibility for day-to-day transaction processing activities.

Expert Panel
We are currently looking for experts within academia and banking to join our Expert Panel. If you have a wealth of knowledge and experience of any of the subjects below and want to contribute to the development of a global education curriculum that helps embed the principles and practice of responsible and sustainable professionalism in banking, then the Institute would like to hear from you. We are keen to hear from a wide range of candidates – both current members of the Institute and non-members. Please find a list of subjects below:
- Ethics
- Sustainability, including green and sustainable finance
- Future skills
- Digital literacy and finance
- Retail, business and commercial banking
- Lending
- Risk, including climate risk
- Bank strategy
This is an exciting opportunity for experts to support today’s and tomorrow’s professional bankers by reviewing, advising on, and contributing to the development of banking qualifications and learning for continuing professional development.
