The Power of Networks
The Chartered Banker Institute Scotland Members' Network explored 'The Power of Networks' through an engaging and interactive panel session as a hybrid event, as part of the Institute's International Women's Day celebrations.
Many organisations have established networks to inspire inclusion. This event delved into how various organisations achieved this objective and the benefits experienced by speakers. Specifically, it explored how formal networks empowered speakers at different career stages, helping them thrive in the workplace and beyond. The event also provided ample opportunities for audience members to ask questions, fostering an interactive and engaging session.
The event was hosted by Laura Patterson (Scrum Master, Tesco Bank) and Zhou Zhou (Agile Strategy & Transformation, Private Bank & Wealth Management | Women in Technology Scotland Co-chair, Barclays). On the panel were Katherine Graham (Head of People Technology, NatWest Group), Lauren Robb (Senior Analytics Specialist, Tesco Bank), Carol Anderson (Director, Branch Banking, TSB), and Jamie McMillan (Senior Operational Risk Manager, Barclays).
