About

The Chartered Banker Institute Scotland Members' Network brings together banking and finance professionals across Scotland to connect, share insight and support professional development. The network provides opportunities for learning, discussion and engagement on issues shaping the future of banking, helping members build relationships and share ideas. The committee organises a series of events throughout the year online and in person including the flagship interprofessional quiz which has now been running for over 40 year.

Andrew Neilson is a communications professional with over 20 years’ experience in PR, spanning financial services, media and culture. He has worked in banking for more than a decade, including roles at Lloyds Banking Group and NatWest, and previously at the BBC and the National Theatre of Scotland. He has been a member of the Chartered Banker Institute’s Scotland Member network for several years
Laura Patterson

Laura Patterson

Tesco Bank | Scrum Master

 
Laura Patterson currently works as a Scrum Master at Tesco Bank as part of Barclays. She has several years working in the industry, having coaching experience across Mobile, Infrastructure and Data Services. She currently sits as Vice Chair for the Scotland Members Network of the Institute.
