Kellie Noon

Kellie is the founder of Onno, a UK-based consultancy specialising in global communications and business. Kellie strongly believes in the importance of developing lasting connections through real understanding of local differences and genuine engagement.

A linguist and trainer who has worked with organisations across the globe, Kellie works on international business development which includes cross-cultural management and ‘International English’ training.

​Kellie also works as an assessor for the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and regularly supports the charity RefuAid.

Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes is an International Trade Director at NatWest, having begun his career in the international banking operations department at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), subsequently moving to customer facing business development and relationship roles. Mark holds CITA accreditation from the Institute of Export & International Trade and currently supports NatWest’s large corporate segment customers across the North West.

Kevin Ledwith

 Kevin is an Export Finance Manager for UK Export Finance in the North-West.  He assists companies in understanding export finance requirements and helps identify an appropriate solution. This maybe via the private market or by using UK Export Finance assistance.

He has more than 30 years’ experience dealing with importing and exporting companies working in the International, Trade and Treasury departments of Barclays, National Australia Bank and Lloyds. Kevin has a degree in Finance from UMIST, is an Associate of the Chartered Banker Institute and graduate of the Institute of Export.

Rick Canavan

Rick is Head of Faculty (International), a member of the management team of the Faculty of Business Law. Ricks background is as a commercial law academic with expertise in sale of goods/international trade, banking and finance and public procurement. His career has spanned the Universities of Sheffield, Hull, Nottingham Trent University and Manchester Met. He co-edits one the leading texts on the sale of goods, which is used across the common law world and has advised central government, shaping for example the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as well as consulting for major global businesses such Rolls Royce and Vinci.
